Prometheus successfully replaced the existing LTHW Boilers and associated plant at the M&S City Centre Cardiff store, located on busy Queen Street.

The existing plantroom located at roof level housed 4 boilers which were stripped out, along with all circulation pumps, pipework, controls and other associated plant. The plantroom now has 4 new gas fired condensing boilers, new circulation pumps, pressurisation unit , control panel and controls, along with new pipework.

After starting the strip out in late September, we had the challenging task of a night time city centre crane lift to position the new boilers and plant which was completed safely and without incident. We then managed to return heat to the store before the winter weather set in. Throughout the works we had a really good relationship with our client who was delighted with the performance of our team and the quality of our installation.
