It was a real privilege to donate some time to several charities early this month, and be part of an LED replacement programme initiated by our client M&S.

Our CAD technician and HR Trainee Sophie gave her time to organise the programme and liaise with the lighting supplier and beneficiaries, with Senior Project Manager Rob  dealing with the more technical aspects of the planning, and the installations professionally led by Site Manager, Wayne.

The finished result was very warmly received by the charities involved, with David Kirwin of Manor House Community Centre sending the following feedback:

“I would like to thank you and the team for the lights we had installed at the Manor House Community Centre just before Christmas. We were always kept in the loop about when the workmen would be on site and communication was excellent.  Your workmen did a great job and were more than helpful; working late and starting early to get the job finished as quickly as possible.  They worked around us and our use of the building, fitting lights in rooms that were empty first thing in the morning so the rooms could be used again as quickly as possible. The new lights are so much brighter than the old lights; a lot of people using the centre have noticed the improved lighting around the building and we are hoping being LED we will see a saving on our energy bill. Being a community centre, the saving will really benefit us.”
