This successful project got off to a worrying start when the night began with accident and road repairs; delaying our start to lift 3 AHUs and a Chiller at M&S Plymouth. We were due to bring the crane in at 17:30 with a 2 hour rig with 28 tonnes of ballast. The ballast transport arrived at 21:00 and the crane at about 22:00. The first lift of the evening was at 11:30 and we managed to complete the final lift just before 05:45 by which time the M&S cold food delivery was just arriving! All units landed safely without any issues, thanks to our team of John, Wayne and Ben, plus JT Cranes and Sparrow Cranes who worked tirelessly through the night to deliver the best possible outcome despite so many problems.
